It would be easy to describe The Stone Soup Company as a soup and sandwich place in an urban environment, but that would be one of the biggest understatement in Tampa. The Stone Soup Company is the brainchild of proprietor, visionary, chef Ilya Goldberg that started as just a place to buy a cup of soup. But after a week in business, it quickly evolved into sandwiches, salads, gourmet dinner selections, late night appetizers, and gelato.

Drinks were very good, was a bit loud this late at night but still very good food and a fun atmosphere :)

Great Cuban sandwich! Good taste, nice dip and OK price, not too high but not cheap either. Nice staff. Mac and cheese was OK.

Food is delicious. Service however leaves a very sour taste in your mouth. Some servers look like they are miserable, the others are friendly but do not come often to the table to ask if we need anything. Looks like place is ran by newbie waiters/servers and a few good cooks. Also, food takes a long time and you only get the usual apology about “the long wait”. It was 3pm on a Sunday, place was empty, again do not come here if you are hungry and expect great service for the price. This is a one hit wonder for me.
